If you have oily skin, there are some other ingredients to avoid in the face cards (if the primers were based on powder or gel base). These are: Mica, pearl powder, bismuth oxychloride, boron y. These light, bright ingredients, accentuating oily skin, acne, acne scars and blemishes. While not specifically harmful to the skin (unless you are allergic to, said one of the ingredients), they will make the face look fat, do faults more pronounced.

In short, it is advisable to avoid silicone gel primer, if you have oily skin, acne prone skin. Pore and complexion will thank you!
